"The venue is problematic once again. Every show we see has a different set of rules, which was actually nice. Sometimes delays happen at the matinee showing of the Nutcracker, where half of the audience is children, and that should be expected. Our seats were on the end so we were eventually let in just as the show was starting. It seemed a bit shorter, but that was the best I have seen and I go every year. We arrived just as the show was starting and were told that we would not be allowed to our seats until intermission, due to something about not being able to see the seat numbers. Sometimes we can take in drinks- sometimes we can't. We were not allowed to take in food to our seats even though we waited in line throughout the entire intermission and then had no time to eat the food as the show was starting. Too many rules for a family event."
